Most cod liver oils are processed with heat that destroys naturally occurring vitamin A and D and can damage the delicate omega 3 fatty acids. As a result, these cod liver oils are often supplemented with added synthetic vitamins.

Rositas Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil naturally contains a nourishing nutrient profile, including;
Vitamin A: In bioavailable retinol form which the body is able to easily use and absorb (unlike beta carotene found in plants) Vitamin A is important for immune system health, reproductive health, vision and eye health and general cell communication.
Vitamin D: Contains vitamin D3 which works with vitamin A to support bone health, calcium absorption.
Omega fatty acids: Including omega 3 EPA and DHA important for maintaining brain health, reducing inflammation and healthy immunity.
Adults: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon daily
Children: 1-4 drops daily
Infants (as approved by doctor) 1-3 drops daily
Pregnant and nursing mothers: Not to exceed more than 1/4 teaspoon daily
How to take
- take out of the fridge and let the oil sit on the counter for a few minutes
- Shake the bottle so the oil is evenly distributed
- A slice of orange after is optional to chase the cod liver oil down with and refresh the palette.
